The CAG supports the CSS process and stakeholder engagement during the planning process. The CAG includes volunteers traditionally comprised of community leaders and representatives from a broad cross section of area interests with the project area jurisdictions, including elected officials, representatives from local municipalities, and local resource agencies. CAG members also consist of property owners, business owners, and residents within or near the project study area, as well as other interested citizens. Public, private and non-profit advocates of long-range planning, environmental sustainability, and transportation management will also participate.
The CAG helps ensure that identified project solutions balance community, technical and long-range planning needs. It also assists in keeping the project on the right track with respect to implementation. The CAG will provide input at key project milestones throughout the planning process. CAG meetings are designed to encourage timely and meaningful input by members. Volunteer CAG members were recruited through the first public meeting and website. The CAG meets in a workshop format, during regular business hours and convenes throughout the project at key project milestones.
