SLK Competition Outdoor Pickleball by Selkirk

The SLK Competition Outdoor Pickleball was engineered for high-level players who want a great playing experience and durability. This ball resists wear and lasts longer than most other outdoor pickleballs so it can be counted on for multiple games. It offers consistency, high visibility, and true flight so that you can be sure your matches will be tests of skill and won't be interrupted by faulty equipment.

The Outdoor SLK Competition Pickleball is designed with a unique 40-hole pattern and even weight distribution so that it goes exactly where you hit it. The bright neon color is easy to see in different lighting conditions and against all types of backgrounds and court surface colors.

The SLK Competition Pickleball is approved for tournament play by USA Pickleball, and addresses all the needs of skilled outdoor players so they can adequately prepare for their most competitive matches.

Pickleball Central's independent lab testing results show excellent durability for a performance-oriented ball. Lifespan prior to breakage is at the top of the range for competition pickleballs, with impressively little bounce decay over the life of the ball.

Balls do well in the cold, but in extreme hot temperatures, they get a little bit warped (our club keeps them in a box at the outdoor courts).

Item came quick and seems to be very durable. The ball is in between Franklin and durafast. All competition is my new go to ball.

The first ball out of the bag was lopsided and unplayable. When I checked the others, 3 more were the same. They are sending me another bag...so maybe I just got a bad lot, but for right now I wouldn't buy Selkirks again.

So I play with these balls in a singles series in NJ. The series just started and we play tested them in temps that were about 37 degrees. These ball are durable as we cracked about a half dozen franklins before trying these out. Though they were durable and did not break any they would not hold there shape for very long. Now not all bad as we played with them this past weekend and the temp started out in the fifties(our series tournament started early in the morning) the balls were able to hold their shape. So the cold I believe keeps these ball from being pliable enoughor to return to its roundness.

Plays like Franklin but more durable. Got it on sale, 6 for $10. They’re not Dura’s but I’m very happy.
