I started playing with the Halo Power 14mm and then added the Control 16mm. Both are excellent paddles. I will be using the power paddle for singles and the controller for doubles. Prior to this purchase I used a Joola Hypernian and the Selkirk Mach 6 Vanguard.

I played with this paddle a couple hours the other day. Although I was using a 16mm core control paddle before...this one is still much "softer". I am not sure I will be able to put away balls with this. There is definitely no "pop" with this Halo. I know there is an adjustment period for new paddles...so I will hang in there awhile longer.

This paddle looks great and I thought I would give it a try. I couldn’t hit the ball with it. Tried it for 3 days - indoors and out. No joy. This paddle was advertised as being a control/spin paddle, and it is as described. Nice soft feel on the ball and more spin than my previous paddle. The grip is comfortable and not slippery. I'm very happy with it.
